Aphex Twin and Squarepusher are great, but do you know what would make them even better? Dirty great walls of metal guitar, that’s what! At least that seems to be the ethos behind Three Trapped Tigers’ debut. Sure, the combination of digital bleepage and raaawk! is nothing new, but few electronic bands have rocked quite so hard as these guys do. TTT have taken every bit of space to develop their sound. When it works, it’s brilliant. ‘Ulnastricter’ for example sears with beauty and barely-suppressed fury. Their visceral music is even better live. So get ready to have your sonic flesh ripped to shreds this Spring.
