A tumultuous couple of years it’s been for the Brighton crew. The debut album ‘Time To Tell’ picked up due attention from the right quarters, giving optimism for a bright future. That was until composer Mark Horwood’s suicide in September 2009, leaving cohort Raissa to contemplate the way forward.
With the courage to continue the cause, the band played on and this is the first post-tragedy release in a six-track mini-album. Heavily orchestrated, it’s baroque pop with a touch of class and Raissa’s dreamy vocals conjure up an endearing carefree atmosphere. R.I.P. Mark; optimism is reinstated!
