The Favours are a four-piece from Hull who take hard rock and indie staples, like chiming guitar lines and thundering riffs, and give them an adult-orientated rock makeover.
Fortunately the good news for all shallow male music fans is that the band is fronted by quite possibly the most beautiful woman in UK rock at the moment – think Stereolab’s Laetitia Sadier mixed with Mazzy Star’s Hope Sandoval. It’s no surprise she is prominent on both the single sleeve and press release. If you had to be either blind or deaf at a The Favours gig, you’d definitely choose the latter.
