The Death Set – MFDS EP

A brilliant blast of pop, electro and punk rock

The Death Set are from Baltimore and like short songs, lo-fi production and tearing the shit out of any style of music that comes their way.

The positively epic Negative Thinking (two minutes plus) is a brilliant blast of pop, electro and punk rock wrapped in a warming blanket of Hammond organs and fuzzy guitars – like Los Campesinos! covering The Ramones. Intermission is a sharp and skuzzy electronic assault of shouting and swearing. Heard It All Before is more frenetic punk pop while the title track is a filthy 40 seconds slice of crunk. A hard-boiled six minutes of fun.
