A dreary, sound of the future stereotype
Static - Freedom Of Noise

When Static loops and rotates into himself, ‘Freedom Of Noise’ is nothing more than a demonstration of how technology works, a dreary, sound of the future stereotype. When multi-tasker Hanno Leichtman’s lo-fi expo makes electronics interact with for example, dreamy harps, and organic and artificial begin to confer, results improve. Real live trumpets take twitchy nippers under their wing (‘Stubby Fingers’), and Leicthman goes on to make rocking chair nuances out of scrap and spare parts, and awkward, automaton pop putting ripples into comfort zones. The loops and rotations starting to tell stories, above idly completing their own course, is where insomniacs will take life-lines from.
