A concise and clued-up partnership
Rewd Adams & The Last Skeptik - How Not To Make A Living

The Skeptik isn’t daft enough to douse the fire in the belly of his new muse – it’d be negligent to restrain one of the UK’s finest chops busters. But he does get him open to possibility: ‘Everything’s OK’ pleases with a song in its heart and Hall & Oates-ish chorus, and ‘Colours’ allows Adams to share an underrated concept-driven ability. Having always had boom bap down pat (posse cut juggernaut ‘Monster Things’), rotating so as to make them rugged, reflective and rascally, TLS finds a new outlet too, his stock rising with the Alice Cooper snot-rocker ‘J.O.B.’. A concise and clued-up partnership, pushing one another towards a nice lil’ earner.
