Martyn – Ghost People

A toughening up for new employers

A potentially awkward switch to Brainfeeder hasn’t changed the blanket bass coverage of Martijn Deykers, the manhandling of subwoofers made simple in a natural succession to ‘Great Lengths’. Consistent ruggedness, the sort that brings wicked grins of appreciation, shows a toughening up for new employers – and Martyn was hardly puny to begin with. Whether garage, techno, ghetto bass or rave, the route to the dancefloor is always direct, and the laying into speakers cut and dried from the off.
