A remarkably consistent debut album...
London Grammar - If You Wait

Having met at Nottingham University and been signed soon thereafter, it was to take 18 months of agonising and obsessing over every little nuance of their music before London Grammar were happy to let us hear anything.

Sounding not unlike the Jamie xx remix of Florence’s ‘You(’ve) Got The Love’ became sentient and formed its own band, this trio occupies similar sonic territory to the former. But with Hannah Reid, they possess as defining and soulful a vocal as the latter.

Single ‘Strong’ is representative of this remarkably consistent debut.
