Fast living means any downtime must be quick and concentrated, so at only five tracks and forty minutes long, Daniel Martin-McCormick has much to pack into his adventuring onto ambient dancefloors. Though made mostly for sailing on the crest of fluorescent waves, ‘Doesn’t Matter’ has an ’80s brain showing modern footwork, and ‘Privacy Settings’ hits a patch of black ice, plummeting until Ital comes out the other side fulfilled and enlightened having reached ‘Israel’. Far from sounding unfinished or undercooked given its skimpy running order, if you don’t find yourself getting too attached, take it as deep dance for when there aren’t enough hours in the day.
