Expectation is uncompromising. Rising above the media hype in 2008, with a pioneering debut that justified the bluster, pressure for evolution has mounted in wait for the follow-up. Time has been well invested it seems, for Allan and crew have delivered! The trademark Spectoresque musical landscape remains, yet more assured now. There’s greater cohesion and clear indication that the construction has been meticulous. As lyrically profound as ever, yet with a tinge of detached romantiscm. Pioneers they remain.
