UK rapper and singer Estelle never quite made it at home so it’s a surprise to see her suddenly show up with Kanye West and Will I Am on guest vocals and production respectively.
Kanye doesn’t do a half-assed Jay Z “Uh Yeah” vocal, but delivers a whole verse and even pulls off a clever line, “Dressed smart like a London bloke / Before he speaks his suit bespoke”. The song is smooth, West Coast disco – coolly understated but booty-shakingly catchy. And Estelle shows off a hitherto unheard sweet jazzy voice with the confidence of a star in the making.
