As well as being a nightmare to file alphabetically on a German-language iTunes, Die! Die! Die! are a three-piece band from New Zealand who have been around since 2003.
Their latest single is released as part of Too Pure’s monthly singles club and the compulsive rhythms and urgent guitars of their downbeat yet catchy art rock make it a worthy member. With rumbling bass lines and chiming riffs the band create an interesting blend of punk, shoegazing and pop, while the vocals are a cross between Patti Smith and Courtney Love despite being delivered by a man.
