Already being lauded as the newest pop sensation by those with a financial interest on their prediction coming true, David Jordan releases his first widely available single – i.e. the first that wasn’t given away to tabloid newspaper readers.
Jordan urges us to “dance ‘til the sun goes down” having “started in the morning”, which is surely the wrong way round, but he’s got a pounding bass drum, banjos and a Ben Harper edge to him, so let’s not argue. At first it sounds pretty good but repeated listens give you a Ricky Martin-shaped headache.
