From its electric opening with a relentless guitar riff pursuing inexhaustible beats and rattling percussion, you can feel a storm brewing inside this debut single from the Scottish three-piece.
The singer wails about his “right to walk down the street / without fear of assault” and very quickly his attitude flips from assertive to aggressive with his wild cry of “kill all the bimbos”, as the music races towards a bloody conclusion with stabbing peals of feedback. It could be too much but they manage to maintain a minimal quality reminiscent of the intense blues of The Kills.
