Close Lobsters return with a collection of their singles. Not exactly doing bugger all since their split, the band are famous for reappearing here, there and everywhere, and at last some of their best tunes have been crammed together in a collection to prove that yes, they really quite good, weren’t they?
‘Nature Thing’, ‘Never Seen Before’ and ‘Going To Heaven To See If It Rains’ lie among some other classics that were compiled in the Summer of last year, right where the band started – in Glasgow. They were never groundbreaking, but this collection is a good reflection of a band who deserved much more attention than what they received.
