The Florida five-piece picked quite a clever name when it comes to appealing to the hand-wringing, left-leaning music fan.
After all no self-respecting liberal wants to declare that they hate Black Kids, unlike your humble reviewer who once voiced this exact opinion rather too loudly on a bus. So hopefully all those disapproving faces might see how truly open-minded I actually am when I say that this new single isn’t bad at all. Combining crazy funky wah-wah guitars, electro riffs and vocals mercifully stripped of their ostentatious inflexions this is cool and fun. Though routine sub-Go Team fun nonetheless.
