Released on Souterrain Transmissions, the album was met with widespread praise. Since then, Zola Jesus has toured widely, with Sacred Bones releasing an orchestral version of her material on 'Versions'.
Now a follow up to 'Contatus' has been confirmed. Zola Jesus will release new album 'Taiga' in October, with the singer placing a clip of new material online a few moments ago.
Lasting a mere 50 seconds, few concrete conclusions can be drawn although it seems clear that Zola Jesus is moving into slightly heavier, more beat laden territory.
