Yves Tumor’s ‘God Is A Circle’ Bristles With Intensity

There's a sense of violence to their return...

Yves Tumor has shared new song ‘God Is A Circle’.

The Warp aligned polymath reached fresh heights on 2020’s excellent ‘Heaven To A Tortured Mind’, lauded as one of the best albums released that year by this very title.

Follow-on EP ‘The Asymptotical World’ landed in 2021, with Yves Tumor now ready to sketch out fresh landscapes.

Out now, ‘God Is A Circle’ is a terrific blast of noise, an ultra-raw surge of energy almost post-punk in its caustic intensity. It’s no surprise to find out Alan Moulder – who has worked with everyone from Garbage to The Cure – is on mixing duties, while production comes from Noah Goldstein.

Fresh from appearing on WILLOW’s ‘<COPINGMECHANISM>’ full length, Yves Tumor attacks the song with a palpable sense of violence, their incisive vocal slicing apart your speakers.

Jordan Hemingway – who helmed previous Yves Tumor video ‘Secrecy Is Incredibly Important To The Both of Them‘ – directs the video, an exploration of a transgressive world haunts with references to 70s arthouse cinema.

A singular talent on brutally exceptional form – check out ‘God Is A Circle’ below.
