yunè pinku’s ‘Killing Bee’ Bursts With Energy

She's making power moves...

yunè pinku returns with new single ‘Killing Bee’.

The Malaysian / Irish artist burst out of the traps with her emphatic song ‘Laylo’, before sharing debut EP ‘Bluff’ in full. Melding club tropes with adventurous ideas, the emergence of yunè pinku felt like the arrival of a true all-rounder.

Set to play a London show on November 11th as part of Pitchfork London, new single ‘Killing Bee’ finds yunè pinku amplifying the energy.

Out now via new London-based dance label Method 808, it seethes and writhes with energy, embodying a club directness while also seeking out new colours and tones.

As yunè puts it:

“’Killing Bee’ was born out of experimenting and playing around in the studio. It’s a bit different from what I’ve previously done and the other music I’m currently working on but I thought it would be cool to drop it as more of a party track.”

‘Killing Bee’ comes backed with a multi-dimensional video directed by Leanda Heler – tune in now.
