Brighton risers Youth Sector have shared new single ‘The Ball’.
Out now, the single follows a hectic summer of festival spots, with Youth Sector charming all in their path. It’s little wonder, too, with songs like ‘The Ball’ in their arsenal – sharp, witty, alt-pop, it takes indie songcraft and injects some melody into its DNA.
A buzzy brand of alt-pop that charms at every turn, ‘The Ball’ grapples with Devo-esque outsider tendencies, yet its also worth filing alongside the pristine indie-pop of late-lamented UK types Golden Silvers.
