Younghusband Launch New Album ‘Swimmers’

Check out hazy new song 'Translation'...

Younghusband are set to release new album 'Swimmers' on June 7th.

The London group are cult heroes, with their 2015 album 'Dissolver' remain a perennial spin in the Clash office.

'Swimmers' was constructed at their own studio in Greenwich, built in an old barn and kitted out with all manner of antique, broken down, and malfunctioning equipment.

Out on June 7th (order LINK), sessions were once again led by singer and chief songwriter Euan Hinshelwood.

New song 'Translation' is an impeccably defined slice of guitar pop, partly shoegaze but also driving into its own lane.

Euan Hinshelwood explains: "It's open to interpretation, but looking back on that period of time I guess it's a song about change and retreat. And about a short moment of that time. A stubborn moment when you want to push everything away for a second and work out what element is tripping you up."

Tune in now.
