Young Thug and Future seem to be working on ‘Super Slimey 2’.
The pair caused a ruckus this morning, appearing on Lil Baby’s ‘Dum, Dumb, and Dumber’. A highlight on the Atlanta rapper’s new album ‘WHAM’, the track represents Young Thug’s first release since ending his legal travails.
Close friend Future also appears on the track, and the two are rightly heralded for their collaborative mixtape ‘Super Slimey’. So, is a follow-up on the way…?
Social media imagery appears to hint that plans are already being made, with producer Wheezy sharing a picture from the studio – with ‘Super Slimey 2’ up in neon lights.
With word creeping across socials, it also seems that Gunna and Lil Baby will also feature on the project, in line with recent announcements.
Reviewing Lil Baby’s ‘WHAM’, CLASH wrote:
A record that feels both eclectic and uniquely defined, ‘WHAM’ packs huge amount of detail into its 15-track, 41-minute run. The neo-hallucinogenic production flourishes of ‘Free Promo’ show his studio control, but the roll call of features – GloRilla, Rod Wave, an electric Travis Scott – illustrate the respect Lil Baby is afforded by his peers. If ‘WHAM’ is the point that the rest of the world catches up, then that’s only apt – sometimes, real talent will out.
