Successful promotions company Curious Generation has teamed up with national initiative Make Your Mark to offer young people across the nation the chance to work in the music industry.
The promotions company has worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry, including Dirty Pretty Things and Guillemots, and has teamed up with national campaign Make Your mark to offer something different. The team behind Curious Generation will provide assistance and financial support to a select band of young promoters looking to make their mark.
This opportunity is not restricted to any set genre, with entrants welcome from all styles of music. Hannah Bourne from Make Your Mark had the following to say on the scheme:
“The music industry is calling out for enterprising types to come up with fresh ideas. This is a very special opportunity for young people to get a foothold in the music business and be entrepreneurial while doing something they love. What better way to make money than promoting gigs and liaising with the hottest acts and venues?”
