Oxford’s finest (and wittiest) indie exports Young Knives are set to reward fans with a free show at London’s Koko venue on September 9th, it has been announced.

The band are currently impressing on the festival circuit, with a show at Scotland’s Hydro Connect festival still to come. Young Knives released their second album “Superabundance” earlier this year, and the record was a mature and varied set that retained thier clipped, post-punk sound while also utilizing other influences.

Live, the band are a flurry of tweed and off the cuff remarks, as they attempt to outdo each other in the funny stakes. Lead by Henry Dartnall and his brother House Of Lords, the trio will play a free show in London’s Koko venue on September 9th. Ably supported by former Test Icicle turned love lorn troubadour Lightspeed Champion, this is set to be a gig to remember.
