American hip hop group Yo! Majesty are set to release new single ‘Don’t Let Go’ on March 30th, with a host of UK dates planned.
Bursting out of the Stateside hip hop scene, Yo! Majesty have one small difference to the bulk of their rap peers – they are lesbians. The group’s filthy lyrics and old school beats have won them acclaim with debut album “Futuristically Speaking… Never Be Afraid” being released last year.
New single ‘Don’t Let Go’ is taken from that album, and will be released as a single with a crack crew of remixers taking on the track. London crew Greenmoney provide a some broken beats while DJ NG gets all funky with a loose groove.
A1 give the track some bassline house grooves, while Batty Bassline and Radio Slave will also be restructuring the group’s hip house style.
