Yizzy works with Dizzee Rascal on new single 'Back It'.
Yizzy is part of a new wave of grime MCs making the sound their own, adding something new while remaining true to the original architects.
And they don't come much more original than Dizzee Rascal. Dizzee produces new single 'Back It', and it's jagged, guitar-led arrangement is a reminder that he sampled Sepultura on his debut album.
It's a bolshy, muscular return, with the two MCs push each other harder and harder.
DJ Target aired the song on 1Xtra, and he introduced it by saying:
“A big one for grime, it’s a bridging record. We often hear this talk on state of grime as a scene and we talk about how things used to be, then you get records like this that say shut up let’s enjoy what we have.”
