Yinoluu’s ‘Cherry Blossoms’ Sparkles With Light

His new album 'Nostalgic' is out now...

Yinoluu has shared his peppy new single ‘Cherry Blossoms’.

The multi-faceted figure has been making music for a decade now, his lo-fi sound drawing from influences as disparate as afrobeat and modern classical. Based somewhere between Lagos, Accra, and Toronto, this globe-trotting artist has chalked up more than one million streams across DSPs.

New album ‘Nostalgic’ is out now, with Yinoluu aiming to craft something relatable. There’s a fun energy to his music, a sense of pervasive light that illuminates dark corners.

Discussing the album, he says…

“The album was compiled over the course of two years, allowing experiences and emotions to inform and influence the sonic directions the album grew into. Feelings and memories were bottled into each track and expressed sonically. ‘Nostalgic’ is born of a period of Nostalgia whereby feelings from the past and the comforts of the older things seemed to creep back and I decided to express these relatable emotions through sound.”

Focus track ‘Cherry Blossoms’ is a case in point – packed with colour, the chorus brims with vitality.

Tune in now.
