Yeasayer are set to release their new single ‘Reagan’s Skeleton’ on October 22nd.
Yeasayer’s new album has proved to be divisive. ‘Fragrant World’ is a linear return from the group, with fans either loving or hating the direction which the band have gone in.
New single ‘Reagan’s Skeleton’ is a good example of where Yeasayer are at. Stripped from the recent album, the track is essentially awkward synth pop – the sharp edges have been sanded off, but the idiosyncrasies remain.
Out on October 22nd, the single coincides with a full British tour. The dates are a chance for fans to soak up Yeasayer’s live show, which has been engineered in association with The Creator’s Project.
The new stage design features massive mirrored structures, with Yeasayer fully incorporating the unusual lighting into their set. The band recently dropped by Fallon to preview the set design, check out a short clip below.
