It's called 'Crush Songs'...
Karen O

A true icon, Karen O has led Yeah Yeah Yeahs for over a decade.

Over the years, fans have speculated on a possible solo project, but - barring some 2006 demos leaked online - nothing has come of it.

Now Karen O has confirmed her intentions to release a solo album. 'Crush Songs' will be released on September 8th via Cult Records - the label owned by Julian Casablancas.

Billed as "the soundtrack to what was an ever continuing LOVE CRUSADE" the singer has decided to introduce the album via a series of hand-written notes.
