YARD’s Latest Single ‘Bend’ Is A Magnetic Listen

The Dublin three-piece band steps up with a gritty, cross-genre offering...

YARD have bounced back with brand new single, ‘Bend’.

An electric offering from the Dublin outfit, the track exerts a piercing, magnetic energy. Sporting distorted vocals, killer riffs and a pounding percussion, the three-piece band balance between electro-noise and techno sensibilities, creating an edgy, subversive listen.

Drawing influence from the likes of Gilla Band, Death Grips and Nine Inch Nails, YARD are tapping into the underground. Across a string of releases, the band have continued to refine their live performance, constructing an immersive spectacle with each show. In turn, they’ve shared stages with Shame, Psychotic Monks and Scaler, crafting their own space within the music industry.

Speaking on the track, they share: “When you are caught in cycles of ‘bending over backwards’ for people and find it hard to realign yourself. Overextending yourself into others’ realities so much that you can’t find your own. Not recognising the contorted version of yourself that is left after accommodating the wants of many. Leaving you with physical reactions to this situation with tight, tense and involuntary body movements.”

Tune in now.
