Garage inspired producer xxxy is set to release his new EP 'Got Me So' on February 4th.
Real name Rupert Taylor, xxxy came of age as part of a batch of new producers re-invigorating Manchester's dance scene. Borrowing those swung rhythms from UK Garage, the beatsmith marries these riddims to swathes of lush, house infused electronics.
Departing Manchester some 18 months ago, xxxy has kept himself busy releasing material on Fortified Audio, Mindset and more. Now the producer is now set to team up with Rinse for new EP 'Got Me So' which features three completely distinct tracks.
Moving in a more straight up house direction, xxxy retains the infectious bounce of those earlier recordings. Title cut 'Got Me So' is matched to the sweetness of 'Get Ready' and the jackin' house of ‘Studio 9 (Just Like That)’.
