Wunderhorse has shared new single ‘Rain’.
The group’s new album ‘Midas’ is out on August 30th, following sessions in Minnesota’s Pachyderm Studio with Craig Silvey.
New single ‘Rain’ is the latest preview, and it’s been a key part of the Wunderhorse live show for about a year now. Since its debut in their set, the song has become a fan-favourite, a surging piece of guitar music that brims with atmosphere.
Lyrically, there’s a twist of paranoia here, with frontman Jacob Slater explaining:
“’Rain’ is about the feeling that makes you look over your shoulder sometimes, the idea that the forces that shape your world are unaware of your existence and beyond your control. Something is coming but you don’t know what it is and you can’t stop it.”
Out now, ‘Rain’ comes equipped with a lively performance clip, shot during the band’s November 2023 headline performance at O2 Forum Kentish Town in London.
