The Wombats are set to release a new single “My Circuit Board City” next month, and are reportedly set to follow it with a special Christmas themed charity single.
The band are reportedly in talks with Liverpudlian TV presenters Les Dennis and Paul O’Grady to deliver a spoken word intro to the seasonal track. Titled “Is It Christmas?”, the single will apparently be download only.
Meanwhile new single “My Circuit Board City” is set to become available new month, and is a new song that doesn’t appear on the band’s celebrated debut album “A Guide To Love, Loss And Desperation”. The song is a tale of life on the road, and then trying to re-adjust to normal life.
The Wombats have yet to announce a firm release date for “My Circuit Board City”.
