Rising star wolfacejoeyy has been steadily building a name for himself with his refined blend of rap and melody: the Staten Island artist has dubbed his sound “cutie patootie music”, which blends euphoric club music with drill elements, and leans into the romantic side of for his latest project, Valentino‘.

wolfacejoeyy initially began his music-making journey as a SoundCloud producer, when SoFaygo encouraged him to try his hand at rapping. He has continued to develop an eclectic sound, more recently incorporating his love of R&B and embracing the “Sexy Drill” movement. With co-signs from the likes of Sexyy Red, Anycia and Veeze, wolfacejoeyy is a name to watch out for amongst the new wave of emerging rap talent.

‘Valentino’ shares its name with wolfacejoeyy’s latest alter-ego, who is as toxic as he is hopelessly romantic. The thirteen-track tape – which features the viral hit ‘cake’ – incorporates the sounds of the Tri-State area with his Nigerian heritage, and invites international collaborators – such as Southampton R&B talent Reuben Aziz – to create a record that is unique while being globally inviting. His most ambitious artistic statement to date; ‘Valentino’ feels primed to be his breakthrough project.
