Psych-folk ensemble Wolf People have shared a new track ahead of their upcoming British tour.
Psychedelic seems to be on the rise once more. Tame Impala managed to drag an album of fuzzed up, far out jams to the top of the critical pile in 2012, and their efforts were swiftly followed by the likes of Melody's Echo Chamber, The Time & Space Machine and plenty more.
It's opportune, then, that Wolf People have decided to return. Deranged psych-folk – picture Sabbath covering Pentangle and you'd be close – the band are set to release 'Fain' through Jagjaguwar on April 29th.
Ahead of this, Wolf People have shared new track 'All Returns'. Seemingly inspired by a dream in which an acquaintance of Jack Sharp looked into the songwriter's eyes and picked apart the vagaries of his soul, it's a typically bewitching, otherworldly return from the group.
