London’s O2 Wireless festival has confirmed two more headline acts, to increase its already spectacular bill.
The festival will be joined by Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals, as well as Australian alt rockers Powderfinger.
Taking their name from a Neil Young song, Powderfinger have risen from cult obscurity to become one of Australia’s biggest musical exports. The band also have a politcal side, playing several benefits to highlight the suffering of the aboriginal people in their homeland.
Ben Harper remains one of America’s most acclaimed songwriters, and is currently riding high on the praise for last year’s “Lifelines” album.
