2012 was a breakthrough year for Willy Moon, the New Zealand born singer generating a load of hype and critical acclaim with his brand of 50's rock and roll infused with elements of hip hop. Willy ticked all the boxes an emerging artist should in the UK, with an appearance on 'Later… with Jools Holland', a live session recorded for Radio 1 at Maida Vale and the holy grail of seeing his single 'Yeah Yeah' providing the soundtrack to an iPod advert.
Willy was probably a lot more excited about being given the opportunity to open up for Jack White on his sold out UK arena tour and the man from Detroit gave him a further seal of approval by putting out his single 'Railroad Track' on his label 'Third Man Records'.
Having already sold out the first London date of his UK tour at XOYO in February, a futher date has now been announced at the Electric Ballroom in May. Check out the full list of tour dates and his video for 'Yeah Yeah' below.
