London-based producer-artist Will Lister has announced his forthcoming mixtape, ‘Everything The Same’, out August 2nd via buzzy imprint Scenic Route.

The mixtape prelude ‘Come Get Me’ featuring vocals from Ney Liqa, is a simmering piece of after-hours alchemy, capturing the frisson of a spark between two souls in the dark dimensions of a club utopia. Of the single, Will says: “‘Come Get Me’ is a club-focussed sonic battle between Ney Liqa’s in your face vocals and the high intensity of the percussive modular loops and whirling synths surrounding it. It tells a story of love, lust and temptation, all unfolding within the 4 walls of a club.”

Will Lister has perfected his craft as a collaborative producer working with the likes of Sampha, Oliver Sim, Saya Gray, Daniela Lalita, yuné pinku, as well as peers Elsas, Imogen and the Knife, Max Winter and Canty in his community studio in Sydenham.

His mixtape, ‘Everything The Same’, synthesizes styles along the electronic continuum and features Lady Donli, Max Winter, Lecx Stacy, and a well-known rapper to be revealed later in the campaign. The mixtape is inspired by long family drives where Will would immerse himself in his own world, “armed with an eclectic collection of CDs and and an inquisitive ear, transcending temporarily out of the rural suburbia of his sleepy seaside town of Lyme Regis.”

Lister is also part of of newly-formed band Thredd. The trio will be supporting label mate Nourished by Time on his UK tour at ICA London, Strangebrew Bristol and Headrow House Leeds.
