Nile Rodgers has inadvertently revealed that Daft Punk could be set to release new music in 2013.
The long, strange tale of Daft Punk's new studio album continues…
Daft Punk are working on new material. We know it, you know and Nile Rodgers knows it – not least because he has seemingly been recording with the seminal French pairing.
Revealing a few tit bits of information here and there, the disco legend posted a new blog over the weekend. In it, Nile Rodgers looked ahead to a series of Japanese shows whilst also inadvertently revealing some of Daft Punk's plans.
"The next time I set foot in Japan, my collaboration with Daft Punk would have started to hit people's eardrums, as well as a number of songs I'm working on over the next few months with a select group of artists, and of course finally, my lost CHIC and solo material. No matter how it ends, 2013 Won't Be Boring!"
Recently, Chilly Gonzalez spoke to Field Day radio and revealed that he has also been working with the duo.
