Wild Nothing’s ‘Suburban Solutions’ Has A Satirical Feel

And just wait until you check out the video...

Wild Nothing has shared new song ‘Suburban Solutions’.

The project returns later this Autumn, with Wild Nothing’s first album in five years ‘Hold’ slated to land on October 27th. The previews are coming thick and fast, with songwriter Jack Tatum sharing a new song that taps into his childhood.

Wild Nothing works are known for their insouciant innocence, but ‘Suburban Solutions’ adds something satirical into the mix. A kind of anti-jingle, it’s an incredibly catchy pop song that looks to Tatum’s childhood for inspiration.

Featuring wife Dana and friend Molly Burch on backing vocals, ‘Suburban Solutions’ becomes a kind of tongue-in-cheek plea for self-improvement.

The video was shot around landscapes in Virginia, the state that Jack Tatum grew up in. Shot by the songwriter himself alongside Josh Burgess of Yumi Zouma, it’s a wry look at television advertising from the 80s.

Tune in now.
