It explores songwriting and creativity...

Wilco's Jeff Tweedy has announced plans for new book How To Write One Song.

The American songwriter previously released his memoir Let’s Go (So We Can Get Back): A Memoir Of Recording And Discording With Wilco, Etc in 2018, and followed this with two acclaimed solo releases.

His new tome offers something different, however, with the book focussing on songwriting, and the daily role of creativity in his life.

Out on October 13th through Dutton - an imprint of Penguin Random House - the author has offered the following statement...

“The feeling I get when I write – the sense that time is simultaneously expanding and disappearing – that I’m simultaneously more me and also free of me – is the main reason I wanted to put my thoughts on songwriting down in book form to share with everyone so inclined...”

How To Write One Song will be released on October 13th.
