American alt country giants Wilco have revealed in a new interview that they have finished recording demos for their new album, it has been reported.
The legendary American group have finished recording demos and now plan to head into the studio to record the finished album. Wilco formed from the ashes of seminal band Uncle Tupelo, and are led by songwriter Jeff Tweedy.
The group’s last album was last year’s ‘Sky Blue Sky’. Guitarist Nels Cline was interviewed in Stateside music magazine Rolling Stone and confirmed the news that Wilco are working on a new album stating that “sonically it’s going to be a much wilder, much more unexpected record.”
Cline added that the band have written huge amounts of material. “There’s going to be too much to choose from, right now it’s an embarrassment of riches, for sure.”
