WHY? Launches New Visual Album ‘AOKOHIO’

Watch the second movement now...

Alt-rapper WHY? will release new visual album 'AOKOHIO' later this year.

The artist – real name Yoni Wolf – plays on themes of family, and social anxiety on the new record, pitting standard visions of family life against an unvarnished depiction.

Out on August 9th, the ambitious music is set to a fully immersive visual, with the short film allowing 'AOKOHIO' to reach its next level.

Miles Joris-Peyrafitte directs the film, which stars Emmy-winning actress Tatiana Maslany.

The album's second movement is online now – "II. I’ve been carving my elbows, I might just take flight." is a bold return from a unique artist.

Tune in now.
