A Bruce Springsteen fan could be imprisoned after angering neighbours by constantly playing “Born In The USA” at high volume.
John Norman, 61, from Mansfield, was handed the interim order after the council received more than 100 complaints about his behaviour.
Norman is due back before Mansfield Magistrates’ Court next week.
It is alleged that the music is being played to harass his next-door neighbours, as part of an ongoing dispute.
Funnily enough, £100,000 has been spent in an attempt to control noise levels at Bruce Springsteen’s upcoming gigs at north London’s Emirates Stadium.
Organisers have installed a massive curtain to cut noise pollution to surrounding areas.
The maximum volume permitted by Islington Council for the two gigs tonight and tomorrow (May 30, 31) is 75 decibels, and the gig must end by 10.30pm.
