Berlin based group The Whitest Boy Alive released their debut album “Dreams” to overwhelming critical acclaim late last year, and the band are set to release their latest single from it.
With its glacial tones and world-weary harmonies, “Golden Cage” is a winter anthem in the making. The award-winning video that accompanies the single was directed by Geoff McFetridge – who also creates the stunning openings in Sophia Coppolla’s movies.
The band are lead by Erlend Oye – also in Kings of Convenience – and have built up a cult following in the UK. A show scheduled for London’s 1,400 capacity venue Electric Ballroom for February 7th has already sold out.
The Whitest Boy Alive release their single “Dreams” on February 25th.
