Whip Set For Glasto Challenge

Group To Play Twice At Festival

Manchester electro rock group The Whip are set for a busy weekend after the band confirmed that they are set to play Glastonbury – twice!

Fresh from the release of debut album “X Marks Destination”, the band are set to rock the mud off festival goers wellies with a set that is heavy on synths and low on boredom. The Whip will play at 2pm on Sunday on the John Peel Stage, before racing over to the East Dance Tent for yet more crowd rockin’ beats.

The Whip are sure to get the party going at Glastonbury, with fan favourites such as former single “Sister Siam” set to provoke a hail of glowsticks. The band are also set to release a new single soon, when “Blackout” hits the shelves on July 14th. Reminiscent of the beats that fuelled the Acid House explosion, “Blackout” is a snappy, melodic single that blends together the band’s varied influences.

The Whip will release “Blackout” on July 14th.

The group have also announce a stand-alone headline date, and will play the following show:

July 18th – London, Fabric
