Weyes Blood announces new album ‘And In The Darkness, Hearts Aglow’.
The new album is out on November 18th through Sub Pop, and it was produced by Natalie Mering herself, working alongside studio maestro Jonathan Rado. Album cut ‘A Given Thing’ boasts additional production from Rodaidh McDonald (who has worked alongside The xx, amongst others).
Guests on the incoming record include Meg Duffy, Mary Lattimore, and Daniel Lopatin – indeed, Oneohtrix Point Never seems to be on an indie streak right now, as he also produced the recent Soccer Mommy album.
Of the album, Weyes Blood says: “We’re in a fully functional shit show. My heart is a glow stick that’s been cracked, lighting up my chest in an explosion of earnestness.”
Bold new song ‘It’s Not Just Me, It’s Everybody’ is online now, a powerful, finely sculpted piece of music lit up by Weyes Blood’s lyrical flair.
