Wet Leg’s ‘Angelica’ Is An Ode To Friendship

In all its surreal glory...

Wet Leg have shared their new single 'Angelica'.

Out now, the track is named in honour of Rhian's oldest friend, and it's a mosaic of childhood reminiscence.

An ode to friendship in all its surreal glory – “she brought lasagne to the party” – it's wrapped around a nagging guitar line.

There's a hint of darkness in the background, however, with Rhian adding: "It's laced with disenchantment… Even though the chorus is 'good times, all the time'. That's just impossible, isn't it?”

The tripped out new single contains a fresh video from Wet Leg, which returns them to the Isle of Wight.

Self-directed, it features the two causing joyous havoc across the island – tune in now.

Wet Leg will release their debut album on April 8th.
