Weezer have shared new EP ‘SZNZ: Autumn’ in full.
The band confirmed a slew of releases at the start of the year, each tied to quarterly periods in the year. The SZNZ project started with Spring and Summer, with Weezer sharing a slew of brand new songs.
‘SZNZ: Autumn’ is online now, part of the continually updating SZNZ project; it comes before the Autumnal Equinox, which is September 23rd.
The release comes as Weezer pull their Broadway shows. The group had planned a six-night run but due to low ticket sales they’ve been forced to pull it.
“I just learned that our Broadway shows have been cancelled (due to low ticket sales and unbelievably high expenses),” Rivers Cuomo wrote on Discord. “I’m very sorry to be telling you this now after we’ve already invested so much time, thought, and emotion. Extra apologies to those of you who cleared schedules and made travel plans to be with us.”
