It’s been an open secret for some time that Willis Earl Beal once appeared on The X Factor. The Chicago newcomer was desperate to be heard, and has made no secret of the fact that he appeared on the talent show.
Now a clip from his stint on The X Factor has emerged online. It turns out that the judges didn’t ignore his charms completely, with Willis Earl Beal making it through the auditions and into the bootcamp round.
In one those Q&A segments the show is renowned for, Willis Earl Beal was asked his greatest fear: “I’m not afraid of anything, because there is no competition. If you focus on what it is you’re good at, what your strengths are, then you don’t have to regard everyone else as being your competitor… So I’m not really afraid of anything, except for blowing a gasket from looking at myself all the time. Not from looking at other people.”
